Principal’s Message
Dear Stony Brook Families,
What a week leading up to Spring Break!
Our drama performance was incredible. I am so proud of all of our students who were involved from set design, to stage crew, to actors and singers. They truly demonstrated what great things can come from a group of people working together toward a common goal. The audience loved the show, and our guests were singing and dancing along. Thank you to Ms. Maroon and Ms. Bontamase for all of their hard work!
The BEF Read-A-Thon is off and running. Spring Break is a great time to rack up some reading minutes. If your student has not already signed up, please consider doing so using this link.
Mrs. Felix’s class brought in the most items for the Paws for Pi collection. Thank you to all of our families who donated to this event. Together, we collected 1,312 items.
The PTO is running a new event for Stony Brook students this year, A Me and Mine Dance. Students can bring their favorite grown up on April 17th. Dress to impress!! Please see the flier for additional details!
Yearbook sales are underway! The cost is $20, and the flyer and ordering link can be found here.
Enjoy your spring break. I wish all of our students and their families a relaxing break filled with things that make your hearts happy.
*If you have any gently used children's sweatpants, sizes 10-16, please consider donating them to SBS to support students who may get dirty during recess or lunch. Donations help ensure students can stay comfortable and continue their day without disruption. Please also be sure to pack a snack or two for your student each day that they can enjoy during snack time. Thank you for your support!
